Be very careful with the water. I only use a little bit at a time. Always put all the fruit in first and mix it before adding any water. Then add the water 1 tablespoon at a time until it is the right consistency. I don’t have a measured amount for you, unfortunately.

Fresh or frozen, doesn’t matter. 🙂 Drain them first if using frozen.

I believe it is 1/2 CUP. I edited in cup just now… Sheryl, if it’s something else, please let me know!

There is not a specific amount. If you read the directions you will see how it is done. Please do not automatically add 1/2 cup of berries.

Oh. Are they strawberries that are chopped in half? It originally said (and the blog post said the same thing) 1/2 chopped strawberries. Put butter, sugar and strawberries in bowl. So I’m not really sure how much to even start with?

Oh dear! I guess it is 1/2 cup. It’s been so long I have forgotten. I do apologize for the mistake.
