These are so great. No cutting in shortening. I roll out and cut into squares. I double the recipe and freeze leftovers.

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutesIngredients
2 cups flour
1 TBS baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
Directions
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add milk and oil, stir until dough clings together. Remove dough to a floured surface, knead 7 or 8 times. Roll (or press) to 1/2 inch. Cut out and place on ungreased baking sheet. For softer biscuits place close together. For crustier biscuits place farther apart.
Bake at 450 for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.

I made these because I had all the ingredients in the pantry. The biscuits were very easy to make but in no way make 18 biscuits. I got 8 biscuits from the dough which is good because it is just my husband and I. Something needs tweaked because they were bland. I might try a little more salt or add some honey next time to bring some flavor to them. I’ll use the recipe again for ease of making and common ingredients with a few tweaks.
