Gooey Brownies

This recipe is an old one from Katie, a family friend. These brownies are super easy, super quick to mix up and are my favorite brownies ever.

Difficulty: Easy

Servings: 9 large brownies

Prep Time: 5 min   Cook Time: about 30 minutes  

Ingredients

2 sticks butter at room temperature
4 eggs
1 c flour
2 c sugar
3/4 c cocoa
1 t vanilla extract
pinch salt

Directions

Mix it all up in a large bowl with a spatula (no mixer or whisk – you don’t want to add much air).

Pour into well-buttered square baking pan and spread evenly.

Bake at 350 until toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean (just not wet with batter).

Cool before slicing, if you can wait that long.
