This makes a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner that even my 3 year olds could prepare for themselves by using the microwave (with supervision!). We’ve made them at times that we have to run out the door and then just fold them in half to take them with us.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 1 per bread slice
Prep Time: 3 minutes Cook Time: varies by cooking methodIngredients
Bread product: Any kind of sliced bread; biscuit or English Muffin that has been cut in half; tortilla or pita pocket.
Sauce: Pizza, Marinara, Alfredo, garlic or spaghetti.
Cheese, sliced or shredded – any kind you like or have on hand.
Toppings (opt) black olives, onions, ham, etc.
Directions
Place pizza sauce on bread product. Place bread product on baking sheet or heat-proof plate.
Top with cheese and your favorite pizza toppings.
Nuke in Microwave for 1 minute; OR toast in toaster oven set to toast setting; OR bake in regular oven set to 350 degrees for about 10 minutes; OR place under your broiler for 2-3 minutes. You want the toasted pizza to have golden brown cheese and the edges of the bread product to be lightly browned.
