A wonderful appetizer. You can control the heat by leaving out the chiles or using hotter peppers.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 50
Ingredients
1 – 8 oz package cream cheese
3/4 package of taco seasoning
2 – 4 oz cans of green chiles
3/4 – whole jar (12 oz) of jalapeno slices
1 – 4 oz can of black olives (optional)
Green onion (optional) to taste
1 package of burrito flour tortillas
1 package of shredded cheese (8 oz or larger); cheddar or any kind
Directions
1. Mix together cream cheese and taco seasoning; spread on tortilla leaving a pinch around the edge for rolling
2. Blend green chiles, jalapeno slices, black olives, and green onion; spread on top of the cream cheese/taco mixture on tortilla leaving a pinch around the edge for rolling
3. Sprinkle on cheddar cheese or what ever kind you like on top of tortilla
4. Roll up the tortilla, chill, cut into chunks (however thin or thick you’d like)
