There’s been too much water under my bridge to remember who gave me this recipe, but I used it for 30 years with my elementary school students. They always loved it. It’s fun to let the children make and good to eat.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 1 1/2 pounds
Ingredients
2 Tblsp. margarine
1/2 cup Karo
2~ 1oz. squares unsweetened chocolate (melted in microwave)
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
3 cups powdered sugar
3/4 cup nonfat dry milk
Directions
In a gallon zip lock freezer bag let the margarine soften. Add all other ingredients, seal the bag, and squeeze, squeeze, and squeeze some more until thoroughly mixed. Roll into rope shape and cut into lengths.
