This crazy chicken combo is not one I would have ever dreamed up. The inspiration for it is Anthony’s Chicken. It is an eclectic ingredient list that leaves one frightened initially. Looking at something different we tried this meal several years ago.
It is certainly different and unique. The crazy chicken combo blends together to make a very good meal and has now made it into our meal rotation. It generally makes its appearance on a bi-monthly basis. One thing that we wanted was a little more sauce. I started using a little chicken broth or stock depending on what I have available.
Another alternative that we use sometimes while making this meal is to grill the chicken with your favorite spices. We then will cut up the chicken and put it on top of the pasta in strips. There are a myriad of variations that you can use to make it more your own.
Generally when we have this meal, there is enough leftover pasta and sauce for lunch the next day. There are times when we add a fifth chicken breast for the lucky lunch recipient.
This crazy chicken combo is an alternative to the usual fare that is put on tables. The combination of honey mustard barbeque sauce and the spicy brown mustard is something unique. The interesting thing is that you do not notice an overwhelming mustard taste. I know it has made a place on our food rotation. I hope that it will find a way to your table as well!

Thanks Annie! Don’t hear any complaints when we fix it. We usually grab whatever the store has. We have used Kraft, Typically we try and get one of the local sauces that our store carries.
