1/2 cup cooked chicken livers
1/4 cup water
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cooked carrot, mashed
1 Tbsp soft margarine
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Place well done liver in a blender with water to mix.
In a large bowl, combine flour with margarine and blend with a pastry cutter.
Mix carrots with liver mixture, then add to bowl with flour and margarine to form a dough. Knead for 1 minute.
With a rolling pin, roll dough out to 1/4″ thickness on a floured surface. Cut with cutter or use a ruler and knife to cut into 1/4″ squares then place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. These may be frozen for longer storage. Bring to room temperature before serving.
