4 oz can of tuna, in water
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients together well. Form dough into a ball. Divide in half.
Using a rolling pin, roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4″ thickness. Cut out shapes with cutter or if you don’t have a cutter use a ruler and knife. (1/4″ squares) Place on a cookie sheet.
Bake treats for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in an air tight container in the refrigerator. These may be frozen for longer storage. Bring to room temperature before serving.
Makes about 600 small treats.
