I’m another one who seems to always be chopping onions. Haven’t chopped my finger yet but have been known to catch a fingernail or two over the past70 years…
My fruit for my cookies the other day. I tried my chopper…the poor thing just didn’t want to work that day. A Cuisinart probably wouldn’t give up on me so easily 🙂
I chopped garlic chives and basil for herbed cream cheese. But like a lot of others, I seem to be forever chopping onions (wonder if that could be a song?). Any way, Congratulations on the one year anniversary, and I’d love to win the mini food processor!
The last thing i used my food processor for was to shred cabbage, onion, and a carrot for cole slaw!

The latest thing I chopped was pecans to top my banana bread. Used my hand chopper, which is hard on the hands! Would love the Cuisinart one! Thanks for offering.
I chopped onions last night, I owned one of these at one time, we moved, I packed it I am sure of it, but between TX and NC it vanished into thin air, I did not know that it wanted to stay in TX. I used mine all the time to make salsa and I do miss it. If I win I may cry, if I don’t then I will be happy for whom ever wins it, it is a great tool to have in the kitchen. Oh I also used it to make my bath salts, I mixed my flowers/herbs into the sea salt to make a finer course grind and then added epsom salt also. SO I guess you could say it was a great tool for the bathroom also.
Last for me was onions too. But it was a non-electric “Handy Chop” from a home party based business. A small electric one would be awesome, as sometimes it just isn’t worth it to pull out the big processor for something like that.
The last thing I chopped was eggs for egg salad. Mine little processor is just about shot. Part of the lid broke off but won’t last long. Would love a new one!
Does slicing count? I sliced onions and tomatoes for hamburgers yesterday. If it has to be chopping, the last thing I chopped was my son. I fake karate-chopped him in the gut when we were playing. :o)
Garlic was the last thing I chopped. A small food processor would be great, as I live alone and the processor I now have is too big for most of the cooking I do.
The last thing I chopped was a cabbage last Sunday for our Easter dinner…in my 30+ yr. old, but still working GE food processor…I’ve been in fear that I’ll be needing a new one soon…it’d be great to win one…thanks
I chopped (well, grated really) some Ivory soap for homemade laundry detergent (inspiration compliments of CITR). Food-wise I am perpetually chopping onions…..
I would love to win this, I burnt the motor up in my food processor when I was making dough for apple dumplings. I made meatloaf yesterday and had to chop up onions and bell peppers. When I had my food processor, I used it for everything.

We celebrated 2 birthdays this week-end, my 26 yr old son and my son-in-law, so I had requests for macaroni salad. I chopped boiled eggs, celery and onions. I hope to win the Cuisinart, I do all chopping by hand.
carrots and onions for chicken curry….by hand because I didn’t want to have to wash the big processor and my pampered chef hand version finally bit the dust after many years of service 🙁

The last things I chopped were root vegetables: turnips, beets, carrots, and parsnips, drizzled with oil and garlic salt, to roast in the oven. Yummmm!
Onions and garlic for a big vat of tomato sauce. No matter the “tips” I try for chopping onions I always tear up horribly. A processor sure would help with that!
The Last thing I chopped was garlic for the green beans I cooked to accompany a roast for dinner yesterday. Happy anniversary to everyone who makes up FARM BELL RECIPES!
The last thing I chopped was cabbage and carrots for cole slaw. My husband just chopped peanuts so he can eat them without hurting his toothless mouth.
The last BIG thing I chopped up (by hand) was all the goodies for my pear relish – pears, onions, red and green peppers. Lots and lots of them. Hands ached for days…but the relish was so tasty! 🙂
(Made it worth doing – and worth doing again this year!)
Spinach and onions for a nice spinach pie, which I adapted from Barefoot Contessa. Mmm! I wish I hadn’t grated my thumb when I was doing the parmesan tho.
Last thing I chopped was ham an cheese for my grandson chef salad. He has been loving his salads lately. He is 5 so that is a good thing for sure!!!!!!
Well, the last thing I chopped was onions (just like half of the other commenters.
And the last thing I cut up about an hour ago was a package of chicken wings to make the oven roasted chicken wings posted by “Syrup and biscuits.”
One of the things I really like about this forum is the extra ideas that just get thrown in. This recipe mentions 4:1:1 seasoning and explains it is salt:pepper:garlic powder.
