Launch Week Giveaway #4

May
6

Have you checked out the Recipe Requests section yet? You know how in magazines they have that page where people write in asking for a recipe? But then you never remember from one month to the next what was in there and it’s hard to follow the requests and the answers. This is so much better! You can browse requests AND read the answers all together! You might even have the answer someone is looking for! If you have a recipe that’s been requested, reply to their request to let them know then go to Submit Recipes and add it. (It’s better if you provide the recipe by posting it in the recipe section rather than giving them the recipe in the reply box on the request because by posting it, it’s categorized so others can find it, too.) Maybe you’re looking for a recipe yourself–you can request it! What I love about Farm Bell Recipes is that it’s not all about me here. Whew. Cuz there’s enough of me over here. Farm Bell Recipes is about you and community and sharing. I’m so, so excited about it (and I hope you are, too).

Now for today’s cute and handy kitchen gadget giveaway–it’s this pastry scraper that can be used not only to scrape and split pastry or bread dough when you’re working with it but also for crushing, chopping, and even measuring cookie dough to make even cookie slices. (It has measurements on the side.) I know you need one of these! (Oh–and as Cindy pointed out in the comments, it’s a good soap slicer, too!)

For a chance to win: Just leave a comment on this post! One winner will be drawn by random comment number to receive the pastry scraper. Eligible entry cut-off is midnight Eastern (U.S.) time tonight (May 6). This post will be updated with the winner by 9 a.m. Eastern (U.S.) time tomorrow (May 7). Return to this post to see if you won.

Note: You must be registered to post a comment. Sign up (it’s free!) and join us!

*See the winner of yesterday’s giveaway here.

UPDATE 05/07/10: The winning comment number, drawn by random.org, is #85, KP. Email me at CITRgiveaways(at)aol.com with your full name and address for shipping!
