I haven’t made this but what is not to love. I am from the south and this came from our old church cookbook. It sounds great.

Servings: 12
Cook Time: 1 hour 20 minutesIngredients
1/2 pound butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp. each vanilla and rum flavoring
1 tsp. baking powder
3 cups plain flour
1 1/2 cups walnuts or pecans, chopped
Directions
Cream butter and shortening together. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Add flavorings and cream. Add baking powder and flour; mix well. Add nuts. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until it tests done.
