I’m making this to use with the Lemomade Drink/Dessert recipe that I submitted. Have you ever used sugar substitute to make this?

Hi Sharon: I’ve always used sugar for this because it’s “gritty” and helps to make the slices juicy when you’re stomping them. The citrus slices are also delicious to eat right out of the glass. Your frozen fruit sounds wonderful too, in fact this is how Sangria is often served.
