3 to 4 pieces of thick sliced bacon
1 lb of fresh green beans
Take 1/2 white onion and dice into large pieces, place in fry pan. Dice 3 to 4 pieces of thick slice bacon and add to fry pan with onion. Fry until bacon is just slightly crisp. Blanch clean green beans for approx 3 minutes then add the green beans to the onions and bacon, toss to cover the green beans with the bacon grease.
Serve with the Schnitzel.
