This is very simple and quick to throw together, and it’s a great one pot meal. I saw something similar in Gooseberry Patch and made it my own.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4 to 6
Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 55 to 60 minutesIngredients
4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts ( or chicken tenders )
4 to 6 slices of provolone cheese
1 can of cream of mushroom soup (cream of chicken or celery would probably work well too.)
1/4 cup of water
1 cup herbed stuffing mix, crushed.
enough melted butter to drizzle on top of stuffing
Directions
Arrange chicken in baking dish. Top each piece with a slice of cheese. Combine soup and water, mixing well; pour over cheese. Sprinkle stuffing mix over the top and drizzle with butter. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
