We ran out of mayo one day and DH found the recipe for homemade mayo in the Vita-Mix book. We have not purchased commercial mayo in almost two years. If you like Best Foods you will love this. With the addition of a little lemon juice and a pinch of tarragon this makes a quick mock Hollandaise for asparagus.

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: Prep time is 7 minutesIngredients
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups canola oil
Directions
Place egg yolks, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar and salt in food processor bowl, pulse 5 seconds. Slowly drizzle in 2 cups canola oil, processing until oil is emulsified in the egg mixture.
