Very easy and tasty!
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutesIngredients
1 baguette
1 stick (1/4 pound) butter
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed and minced (or use garlic press)
2 Tbsp parsley, dried or fresh minced
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp salt (pinch) if butter is unsalted
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Slice the baguette lengthwise.
The butter must be softened–you can put it in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave it in 10 second bursts, checking after each 10 seconds, as you don’t want it completely melted, just softened. Put butter in a mixing bowl.
To the bowl of butter, add: olive oil, garlic cloves, parsley, oregano, and salt (if using).
Using a fork, mix all together into a paste, then spread evenly on each face of bread.
Wrap the bread in tinfoil, place on pan, and bake for 20 minutes at 350F.
