This makes a “red french” dressing that is similar to a Russian or a Western dressing.

1 1/3 c. sugar
4 t. paprika
2/3 c. ketchup
1/2 c. vinegar
1 small onion, chopped or 1 1/2 t. granulated onion
1 T. lemon juice
salt & garlic powder to taste – I use about 1/3 t. of each.
Directions
Blend all ingredients except the oil in a food processor until smooth. While the food processor is running on slow speed, drizzle in oil until blended. Refrigerate for 2 or 3 hours to let flavors blend.
