Fast and simple clam chowder. My granddaughter loves this.

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutesIngredients
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can clams with juice
1/2 can water, 1/2 can milk
2 medium waxy potatoes, peeled and diced
1 carrot, shredded
1 tbsp butter or oil
Dry parsley
black pepper
ground celery seed
Directions
In saucepan on medium, saute potatoes in 1 tbsp butter or oil until slightly colored. Add can of soup, 1/2 can water, 1/2 can milk, shredded carrot, 1 tsp dry parsley, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp ground celery seed, 1 can clams with juice, and stir thoroughly. Bring to soft boil then lower heat to simmer, cover and cook 20-30 minutes.
If you like it thicker, mix 3 tbsp cornstarch with 3 tbsp milk, and add to the soup and stir thoroughly. Serve with crackers or toast.
