Don’t let the ‘no salt’ part of the title fool you – this has huge flavor and you will NOT miss the salt! I came up with this in frustration because I love salad with a good oil and vinegar dressing and commercial dressings have huge amounts of sodium. I make this in large amounts to use for the salads for big dinners I help with because it’s requested now.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4+
Ingredients
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar (can sub Splenda)
1/2 tsp. + Mrs. Dash original or Garlic/Herb
1/2 tsp. + garlic powder or granulated garlic
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake well. Let stand at room temperature for a few hours or overnight to meld the flavors. Store in the refrigerator.
You can change this up to make it your own – add more of the seasonings, dried herbs, fresh garlic, use a wine vinegar – the possibilities are endless.
