These are an easy cookie that looks like you spent a lot of time making, but you didn’t. They soften up the next day. Try different flavors of kisses!

Servings: 40 cookies
Cook Time: 13-15 min.Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
additional sugar
Hershey’s milk almond kisses with almonds {I used
cherry cordial kisses}
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp milk
4 tsp. raspberry jam
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Directions
In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and almond extract. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Cover and chill for 1 hr. [I didn’t chill my dough].
Roll into 1 in. balls, then roll in additional sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. I used parchment paper.
Bake at 325 degrees for 13 min. and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over cooled cookies.
