A great maple/brown sugar combination for a change to everyday carrots.

2 pounds baby carrots (or large carrots cut into chunks)
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 Tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
Directions
Cook carrots in water until just tender; drain.
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add maple syrup and brown sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Add carrots and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper if desired.
