Teenagers absolutely love these and can do it for themselves! Wonderful for a fun evening meal. We did this with a youth group when we lived in Texas!! We’d have 3 fryers going!! A blast!
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 8
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: approx 5 minIngredients
Rhodes rolls (freezer section) or homemade pizza dough
mozzarella cheese, shredded
meats: cooked sausage, Canadian bacon, pepperoni slices, sliced ham, etc
pineapple chunks
peppers sliced thin
mushrooms
pizza sauce (purchased or homemade), heated
large pot with oil or deep fryer – 350 degrees
Directions
Thaw the Rhodes rolls. To do this while at work or out of the house, thaw in the fridge. Flatten into dough circle. Put in various ingredients such as sausage, pineapple, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, ham, cheese, mushrooms, and peppers. It should sit nicely in the middle of the dough circle. Moisten half of the edge and bring the other side over, pushing out air, and seal very tightly so ingredients don’t leak out. Fry in 350 degrees F until moderately to deeply browned. To serve, dip in a favorite pizza sauce.
