When I was a kid (50+ years ago) my grandma or mom would make extra pancakes at breakfast. These were covered and left out to use as “roll-ups”. We didn’t have much money and this way I could have a snack and they could give the visiting neighbor kids a snack, too.

Prep Time: 2 or 3 minutes Cook Time: left over from breakfastIngredients
left-over, cool, already prepared pancakes
butter
any of the following or combination of the following:
sugar
cinnamon
jam
jelly
peanut butter
honey
Directions
Take prepared, cool, left-over pancakes and spread each pancake with a thin layer of butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up each pancake, wrap paper towel or napkin at bottom and hand to the kids.
Variations include: on buttered pancake: *spread jam or jelly, *peanut butter–**with or without: sugar or jam or honey.
