This meal is a comfort food meal, My granny would alway make this on cold stormy days and would always fill the house with a delicious aroma. It goes well with a nice warm homemade loaf of bread!
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4-6 people
Prep Time: 15 min. Cook Time: 2-4 hoursIngredients
6 Country Style Pork Ribs
8 Potatoes cut in quarters
Garlic Salt, Salt & Pepper (seasoned to taste)
BBQ sauce (if preferred)
Directions
Boil pork ribs in garlic salt & pepper until very tender to almost falling off the bone. Usually takes about 2-3 hours depending on how high you cook them. I like for them to simmer a while. Take out let cool and then add the potatoes and cook until soft but not mashed. I like to then put the ribs either on the bbq or the broiler just to brown them and then add bbq sauce. (My fav is Sweet Baby Ray’s.) To serve the potatoes put them on plate whole, then softly mash with fork and pour the juice over the mashed potaotes.
