HI, I was asked to be a friend with someone and do not know what it means or how to do it. I am not a member of Facebook or other sites like that so am not sure if that is what she is requesting.

    Thanks for your help,
    Joy

  7. Patrice says:

Suzanne,I’m not on Facebook or any of those, but I asked my teen. She says that friending people is just a way of connecting. I have friended a number of people and been friended by some. I have generally found that when you feel connected you are more likely to leave a comment or try and help if there is a recipe request. It makes visiting Farm Bell feel more like a home town visit!

How do you acept a request for friendship I am new to this site and still trying to navigate my way around

I thought I was the only one here that left a comment months after the post was made.
Navigation here sometimes overwhelms me because the provider has knocked my password off so many times. Occasionally I can’t find what I am looking for and it gets upsetting. I will keep trying and figure it out. BLESSING TO ALL

The easiest way to navigate what’s going on with the everyone else is up at the top “Site Activity”. Comments that are posted, activity updates, new people joining…that’s all in there.

If you want to find the newest recipes, click “Browse Recipes” in the tabs, those are listed by latest submitted.

    Latest blog posting, “Blog Posts”.

Anything to do with Friend Requests are up at the very top “Friends”..once you click on that, a page will come up with Requests. Click on that and either accept or reject. You will receive your “friends” activity.

If you want to find a specific member, “Members”.

If you’d like to be notified if there are comments made after you’ve made a comment on a blog post, a recipe….click “Notify me of followup comments via-email” right above the comment section before you submit the comment, you will get an email when someone else has commented on the same thing.

  11. CindyP says:

It can be as simple or as involved as you’d like it to be. You don’t have to “friend” anyone, you don’t have to comment, but we’d sure like you to!!!!
