This is always a hit at my house or when I carry it anywhere. But don’t plan to bring home leftovers! This bread is good as a go along with a dinner time meal, breakfast or a snack.

Servings: 1 loaf
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 35 - 40 minutesIngredients
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoons ground pepper – more be added depending on your taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 large eggs
1 eight ounce container sour cream
1/2 cup butter or margerine melted
Directions
Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, and grated cheese.
Stir eggs, sour cream and melted butter together and pour into the flour and cheese mixture. Stir until just moistened.
Spoon mixture into a greased and floured 8 x 4 loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for about 35 – 40 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
This is also good toasted the next morning with breakfast, or for a snack. Yield 1 loaf
