This make a thick, sweet sauce that has a nice kick at the end. Sometimes I increase the cayenne pepper and add about 1/4 cup of honey as well. Be sure to cook it long enough, or the sauce won’t be as thick as it should be!
Difficulty: Easy
Cook Time: 45min - 1 hourIngredients
1 1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 Tablespoons molasses
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Directions
Mix all ingredients and simmer until thick, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Refrigerate any leftovers.

If I want to can a lot, can I just multiply the ingredients accordingly or do I have to adjust any measurements?

This is excellent sauce! I made it this evening to go with a pork roast I did in the crock pot today. Made it into pulled pork sandwiches. The only change I made was used regular vinegar as that was all I had on hand. My family enjoyed this very much! Thank you for a most excellent recipe!
