Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 6
Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 45 minutesIngredients
8 whole apples, sliced (any kind, depending on the size of the apple, you may only use 6-7)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1-1/2 stick butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 whole egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans work well)
Directions
Use a 10-inch pie plate. Fill pie plate 2/3 full of sliced apples. Sprinkle apples with tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the apples in the pie plate. Spread with a spatula so that the mixture gets in the spaces between the apple slices.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
