Nutty and crunchy, this granola is good on yogurt, ice cream or just eaten out of hand!

Servings: makes 2 quarts
Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 30-40 minutesIngredients
4 cups regular oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 cup chopped cashews
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 1/2 cup your choice dried fruits: cherries, cranberries, chopped apricots or combination
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
Combine oatmeal with nuts and wheat germ. Heat maple syrup, honey, butter and cinnamon to melted but not boiling. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over oatmeal mixture and stir well. Bake 30-40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Cool and mix in dried fruit. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
