Luscious Lemon Bars

Melt in your mouth delicious!

Ingredients

<em>Crust:</em>
1 Cup soft butter
1/2 Cup powdered sugar
Dash of salt
2 Cups flour

<em>Filling:</em>
4 eggs beaten
2 Cups sugar
1/4 Cup flour
6 Tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

Combine ingredients for crust and mix well. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Mix filling ingredients and pour onto slightly cooled crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar!

I use Real Lemon or freshly squeezed and strained lemon juice and add a tablespoon or so of lemon zest. I know Real Lemon, but I don’t always have lemons and sometimes I buy them to make Lemon Bars but they end up forgotten in the vegetable crisper.
