Delicious, easy to make, grilled jalapeno poppers with a tangy sauce.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25-30 minsIngredients
12 large jalapenos
1 packet of turkey bacon
1 package of light cream cheese
Spicy Asian Sauce:
Blend together in dipping bowl:
1/4 c. light Western dressing
1 heaping Tbsp (or 2!) of thick Asian chili paste
2 tsp. fresh lime juice (or just a good squeeze)
Cracked pepper
Directions
Wearing gloves, slice the peppers in half the long way, scrape out all or most of the seeds-depending how hot you like them.
Fill each side of pepper with low-fat cream cheese.
Wrap with 1/2 a piece of turkey bacon and stick a toothpick to hold the bacon tight.
Place on the top rack of your BBQ grill and cook at around 300 degrees for 25-30 mins. The bacon should be crisp and the peppers soft.
Dip in spicy Spicy Asian Sauce.
