This is my grandmother’s recipe–lots of apples and nuts and cinnamon! Now it’s fall!

Servings: 10-12
Prep Time: 10 minutes, not counting apple prep Cook Time: 35-45 minutesIngredients
4 cups sliced apples
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Core, peel and cut into small slices 4 cups of apples. Mix with 2 cups of sugar and let set 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup oil and 2 eggs. Mix then add 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 2 teaspoons baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix then add in 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts. Bake in greased 11″ pan at 350 for approximately 35-45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
