8 dove breasts
salt
pepper
garlic salt
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
3 Tbsp dry sherry
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 cup light cream
Directions
Sprinkle doves with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Brown in melted butter with mushrooms. Add sherry, Worcestershire and lemon juice. Cover tightly and simmer very slowly 15-20 minutes. Remove doves from skillet; blend in flour and then cream to make gravy.
Serve doves with gravy over a bed of rice.
