What can i say about chicken noodle soup?
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: it depends
Prep Time: 1-2 hours Cook Time: 1-2 hours dividedIngredients
Chicken–half pound per person
Vegetables (total amount equals the amount of chicken) — celery, carrots, and onions, in equal parts, a few mushrooms and some green pepper
Noodles–for each serving add a handful of noodles. Remember big people have big hands and little people have small hands.
Seasonings to taste
Directions
Make the Broth:
Put chicken in a pot and boil it in water. When it is easy to pull the meat from the bones, remove it from the pot and allow it to cool. Skim the fat from the cooking water and save the fat and the broth.
Make the Soup:
Cut the meat into spoon size pieces. Cut the veggies into small dice and combine equal parts of mixed veggies and cut up meat. Return the chicken meat and the veggies to the pot with as much broth as you need (add as much broth as you have veggies and meat). Bring to a boil and season to suit your taste.
Add the noodles and cook until the noodle are done.
