Baker’s White Frosting. Recipe from my mom.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: Makes enough for 2-8" cakes or one 9" x 13" cake
Ingredients
3 Tbs. flour
1 cup milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. vanilla or other flavoring
1/2 cup oleo (room temperature)
1/2 cup shortening (room temperature)
1 cup white sugar
Directions
Cook the flour and milk slowly, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and cool.
Then add the rest of the ingredients and beat until fluffy.
Makes enough for 2-8″ cakes or one 9″ x 13″ cake.
