Dressing:
3 tsp. soy sauce
3/4 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1-1/2 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. canola oil
2 tsp. rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. Frank’s Original Hot Sauce (optional)
Slaw:
2 cups shredded green cabbage (or Napa cabbage)
1 grated carrot
1-1/2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion (scallion)
1 Tbsp. chopped cilantro (optional)
generous grating of black pepper
Directions
Mix all dressing ingredients. Mix cabbage, carrot, green onion, and cilantro (if you like it). Pour dressing over slaw, grate pepper over, and toss to coat. Let stand for 15 minutes or so to slightly wilt cabbage.
