one of the myriad of jello recipes of yesteryear…..
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 9
Ingredients
2 pkg. lemon jello
4 cups apricot nectar
1 cup crushed pineapple
Filling:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 large cream cheese
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup reserved jello mixture
Directions
Dissolve jello in warmed nectar (reserve 1/2 cup of resulting mixture for filling). Add pineapple to the jello mixture. Pour half of this into an 8″ square pan and chill until set. Mix the filling ingredients and spread over the set jello. Pour remaining jello mixture over top. Chill.
