This cheesy comfort food can be made with ground turkey, beef, or pork and on the stovetop/oven or in the microwave. It’s quick, easy, and family pleasing.

1 med. head cauliflower
1 1/2 pound ground turkey, beef, or pork
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 Tbs flour
1 cup milk
1 Tbs butter
2 cups grated cheese
1 cup soft bread cubes
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp garlic pepper
Directions
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and break it into bite sized pieces. Cook in salted water in saucepan or in the microwave until tender crisp; drain. Sauté or micro-cook ground turkey, onion, salt, and Tabasco until the turkey is no longer pink, stirring to crumble. Set aside.
Blend flour, milk, butter, and Tabasco in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cheese and continue to stir until cheese melts.
Layer cauliflower and bread cubes in a two qt. casserole. Sprinkle with oregano, basil, cumin, and garlic pepper. Top with ground turkey. Pour cheese sauce over all.
Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour or heat in the microwave until hot and bubbly.
