Easy to make ahead and freezes well too! A hearty “stick-to-your-ribs” type of dish for a cold winter day. Also a wonderful side dish that goes well on a picnic! My husband especially likes this with cornbread.

Cook Time: 60-90 minutesIngredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb bacon cut in bite size pieces
1 large onion
1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C catsup
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 (15 oz) can park and beans
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans
1 (15 oz) can baby butter beans
Directions
Brown beef, bacon, and onion; drain and place in small roaster. Stir in sugar, catsup, vinegar, mustard, and salt. Add undrained beans – stir gently to mix.
Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hour, stirring after 30 minutes.
