This recipe tastes just like chicken wings…only not as messy…it can be eaten hot or cold…our family prefers it heated. It will be a hit where ever you serve it.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 8-10 person appetizer
Prep Time: 20 minutes if chicken is precooked. Cook Time: 20 minutes or until heated if using oven...crockpots vary in temps so keep an eye on it...allow an hour prior to serve time to be safeIngredients
4 cups shredded cooked chicken
2 cups Franks Hot Wing Sauce (I use 1 1/2 cups sauce mixed with 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing)
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
4 cups shredded cheddar
Directions
Microwave hot sauce & cream cheese. Whisk until smooth. Mix with other ingredients & put in crock pot on low OR bake in shallow dish at 325 degrees until hot.
This dip is pretty thick so scoop chips or celery work best. It’s also good on toasted mini loaf bread slices.
