I got this recipe from a local church cookbook. I have made this for several years. I make this at Christmas and give as gifts.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 16-20 pieces depending on size
Ingredients
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, syrup and salt in pan and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture forms a soft ball (it takes about 6 minutes after it reaches a rolling boil). Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Let set for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, stir until mixture begins to thicken. Pour into buttered 8 or 9 inch pan.
