Needing Worcestershire sauce for a recipe and not having any, I went to Wiki to look up the ingredients in Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce — it includes anchovies and tamarind, which I don’t keep on hand, so I used ginger instead. I think this tastes very good and it thickens as it sits in the fridge.

1 1/2 c apple cider vinegar
1/2 c molasses
1/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c lemon juice
1/2 c pickle juice
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp ginger
Directions
Put all ingredients in a medium sauce pan, bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes.
Yield: 3 cups
