I make this cheese spread whenever we want munchies, like New Year’s Eve or the Superbowl. It is something a little different, but really yummy.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 20 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: Chill for 3 hoursIngredients
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, either regular or low fat
1 can tuna
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
If you are making this into a cheese ball, add 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until evenly blended. Cover and refrigerate several hours for flavors to blend. Serve with crackers. You can make this into a cheese ball by rolling it in finely chopped nuts, but I am lazy and just use it as a spread.
