I like to bring this dish to summer picnics and potlucks and everyone always asks me for the recipe. It is so easy to make and tastes just like eating a big ole juicy caramel apple. YUM!

Prep Time: 20 minutesIngredients
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
6 cup chopped unpeeled Granny Smith apples
2 cup skinless salted peanuts, chopped
16 oz whipped topping
Directions
Combine pineapple juice, vinegar, flour and sugar in saucepan. Cook just until mixture comes to a simmer, stirring constantly. Cool to room temperature. Combine apples and peanuts in bowl. Add cooled mixture; mix well. Fold in whipped topping. Chill and serve.
