Does anyone have a recipe where the batter is poured over the top of the apples instead of the apples mixed in with the batter?

    Thank you Mrs Turkey! That sounds like it might be it! It has a lot of sugar in it, which would be right because the top of the batter would for a crunchy crackly top like on brownies. will give this a try!
