I am looking for recipes for fruit spreads to can that do not have sugar or sugar substitutes in them. my husband does not eat sugar or fructose or corn syrup. Would like to make some up instead of buying. Thanks, Linda

Linda, have you checked out Pomona Pectin? It is wonderful stuff! It’s a sugar-free pectin that uses calcium water (comes with the pectin). Since it does not require sugar to jell, jams and jellies can be made with less, little, or no sugar. You can also use honey as a sweetener. It seems expensive, but you can get many batches from 1 box of pectin. You can double and triple the batches where you can’t with regular pectin.
