This dessert was given to me by a very dear friend of the family a few years ago and now it is one of the dishes I am required to bring at Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: about 12
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutesIngredients
2 cans crescent rolls
2 pkgs. cream cheese
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
topping:
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
glaze:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
enough milk to glaze
Directions
Press 1 can of crescent rolls into a 9 x 13 pan. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls in pan. Layer second can of crescent rolls over cream cheese mixture. Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle over cheesecake. Pour melted butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes. While cheesecake is baking prepare glaze. Pour glaze over top of cheesecake as soon as you take it out of the oven. Let set for about 10 minutes before serving.
