My entire family no longer will eat store-bought bbq sauce after I started fixing this sauce. It keeps well in the fridge. I have also doubled the recipe & canned it.

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 10 - 15 minutesIngredients
2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp salt
rounded 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp hickory liquid smoke
Directions
Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat, and whisk until smooth. Bring sauce to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer to desired thickness.
