This is our family’s go-to for a busy weeknight dinner, courtesy of my Grandma. Dinner just doesn’t get any easier than this. Can also be cooked in stock pot on stove for 40 minutes, if preferred over the crock pot.
Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 6
Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 min for stove-top, 6-8 hrs in crock potIngredients
1 large can green beans
4 medium potatoes (red potatoes are best, but others work well also)
1 package smoked sausage or kielbasa
Directions
Cut smoked sausage and clean potatoes into 1-inch pieces. Put in crock pot with green beans. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. (My crock pot tends to be very hot, so 6 hours is fine.)
